Our "wood-path"

In the truest sense, it is a way of wood that shapes the history of Rudda. Three generations are already passionately engaged in this interesting, vibrant, unique and versatile natural product.

100 years of quality that inspires

More than 100 years ago, Dipl. Ing. Karl Rudda (sitting on the left) founded a small sawmill in Heidenreichstein in which electricity was first generated in Heidenreichstein. He replaced the old single-bladed saw with a modern full gate that could cut trees at once into boards of different thicknesses and began manufacturing simple ship floor planks and herringbone parquet.

My father started with a small sawmill. What he started with diligence and tireless efforts, I continue. For me, the constant innovation of beautiful and high quality products certainly is the most important driver. Ing. Friedrich Rudda, 2. Generation

Number 1 in Austria

With the years and after the takeover by Ing. Friedrich Rudda in the year 1973 it went uphill steeply. The door focus was increasingly expanded and intensified. Through countless innovations, new developments and milestones, starting with the first prefabricated doors with matching prefabricated door frames up to the cutting-edge relief door and Multistyle, which were launched on the market in 2018, Rudda developed into the door and parquet specialist number 1 in Austria.

Innovative family business

Today, Rudda presents itself as a large, modern company with a huge range of selected wooden floors and doors in 4 large locations - Heidenreichstein, Vienna North, Vienna South and Marchtrenk. In the meantime, even the youngest Rudda scion, Maurice, is already working intensively in the company and gives new impetus to the company through his creative input in product design, marketing and the internet.
